Allows the attachment of a Losmandy Dovetail to a Atlas / EQ-6 Mount

This dovetail receiver entirely replaces the factory Vixen style dovetail receiver of the Atlas / EQ-6 Mounts, allowing them to accept Losmandy style dovetail mounting plates which are more universal and provide greater rigidity when mounting larger instruments on these mounts. Our receiver features a spring loaded jaw which stays out of the way when you are inserting the dovetail into the receiver, also there is a central hole which allows for the extraction of the counterweight shaft from the declination housing for transport (a feature exclusive to our unit) which comes in handy when using our 20" length extended counterweight shaft.
